A Resounding Call
A men's chorale dedicated to perpetuating the islands' choral traditions — uniting voices to share the beauty and power of Hawaiian song.
The Call
A new community chorus, rooted in Hawaiian language and choral tradition.
Kāhea Ka'iahea is a men's chorale dedicated to perpetuating the islands' choral traditions, singing together in Honolulu in four-part harmony. It was formed to give men who love Hawaiian music a place to gather, learn, and grow in harmony, no matter their background or prior choral experience.
Whether you grew up singing in church, in school, or have never sung in a group before — if you can carry a tune and want to learn, there's a place in this chorale for your voice.
That's what "Kāhea Ka'iahea" means — and it reflects our purpose: uniting voices to promote the beauty and power of Hawaiian song.
Aha — Gathering
The chorale meets Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm at 1212 University Ave, Honolulu, HI. New voices are welcome to visit. If it's your first time coming, please email Phil at pmhstudio@gmail.com beforehand.
Kāhea Ka'iahea shares Hawaiian choral music at community events across O'ahu — watch clips from past performances on our Facebook page.
No audition required to visit a rehearsal. We welcome men of all singing backgrounds who want to learn Hawaiian choral repertoire in community.
